About me

My personal Ann Verhaegheteaching style draws from more than 20 years of practicing and studying many yoga styles along with studies in Thai Massage, Reiki, Ayurvedic Head Massage, Aromatherapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Present Child Translator.

I have been teaching yoga in Belgium and South Africa since 2003. I have a Masters in languages Danish – German – Dutch – English

Yoga is first and foremost a spiritual practice and a lifestyle. Being on the spiritual path has helped me feeling exuberantly alive and living my life to the fullest, no matter how dark things may look on the outside.

My dedication to yoga in its widest meaning has blessed me with a spiritually rich and fulfilling life. I feel much better about myself and the world around me. Inner-standing the transformative powers of yoga makes me so passionate about sharing my knowledge and personal experiences with my fellow human beings. My husband and three children inspire me every day to become the person I want to be: more mindful and accepting, happier and grateful.

My formal training spans more than 1000 hours in many different yoga styles such as Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. I am lucky to have trained with true experts in their respective fields, such as Paul Grilley, Ana Forrest, Sarah Powers, Rod Stryker, Sharon & Daivd Gannon, Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, Sri Sri Ravishankar, Dr. Joe Dispenza….I have also trained both as a Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra teacher.

I teach people of all levels and all ages with a dash of humor and simple, but efficient anatomical cues! Intuition plays a big role in my teachings and I have an innate passion to make people feel at ease in every class.
